There’s a verse I haven’t been able to shake lately:
"He fed you honey from the rock, and oil from the flinty crag." — Deuteronomy 32:13
That scripture stirred something deep in me. Not just because it’s beautiful --- but because it holds a key. Honey...from a rock? That's wild provision.
Sweetness from hard places. God's sustenance where there should be none.
And I knew --- that's what my body had been crying out for.
🐝 The Diet That Sparked Something
I first came across the honey diet — and it fascinated me. The rhythm of fruits, honey, and grounding meals felt gentle, cleansing, and wise. But even the best wellness wisdom couldn’t fully heal me.
Because no method could restore me without Jesus. No protocol could carry the weight of my grief. I needed a Redeemer, not just a reset.
That's when the Honey On The Rock Diet™ was born --- a rhythm rooted in Scripture, sustained by Christ, and offered as path of nourishment and peace for women like me.
✨ What is the Honey on the Rock Diet™?
It’s not a detox plan or a restriction ritual. It's a Spirit-led rhythm of nourishment for body, blood, and spirit. It's about eating like you trust God to provide --- even in the hard places.
It centers on:
☀️ Daytime: Fruit, dates, and raw honey to support the liver, brain, and cellular hydration --- fast-burning, Spirit-friendly energy. Optional salad.
⛅️ Afternoon Pause: A gentle fast with water, tea, and prayer --- creating space for clarity and detox.
🌙 Evening: A low-fat, protein-rich meal of greens, herbs, and gentle grounding foods --- nourishing without overload.
🕊️ At Night: Breath prayer. Psalms. Deep sleep with God's peace.
🧎♀️ Why I Needed It
I’ve lived through burnout, heartbreak, disrupted hormones, injury, and spiritual warfare. And no matter how "clean" I ate, something was missing. I didn't need another plan. I needed God's hand.
The Honey On The Rock Diet™ became the healing rhythm that:
Supports liver, lymph, digestion, and hormones
Lowers inflammation and bloating
Calms the nervous system and restores deep rest
Anchors the day in truth, not fear
🌿 How a Day Looks:
☀️ Morning:
Spring water with lemon + salt
1–2 tablespoons raw honey
Fresh fruit or a smoothie bowl
Optional: herbal or mushroom tonic
🍯 Midday:
More fruit (bananas, berries, citrus, melons)
Raw honey by the spoon or in tea
Optional: date butter snack or yogurt bowl with cinnamon and seeds
Optional salad: a fresh, mineral rich salad with cucumber, romaine, herbs, lemon, and a splash of olive oil or vinegar --- especially helpful for womens cycles.
⛅️ Afternoon Reset:
Stop eating for 3–4 hours (digestion pause)
Drink water, herbal tea, or juice
Use this window for prayer, breathwork, napping, or a walk
Let your body rest — and let your Spirit rise
🌙 Dinner (Protein-Rich + Low-Fat):
Grass-fed beed, wild fish, or pasture raised eggs
Steamed vegetables or bitter greens
Mineral broth or a simple raw salad with lemon
Optional: fresh herbs, gentle spices, and gratitude
🌌 Night:
Read a Psalm
Do breath prayer or body stillness
Rest deeply in the peace of Christ
🪨 Why “On the Rock”?
Because this isn't just about honey. It's about the One who gives it. It’s about the One who gives it. Even in seasons of famine, fear, or fatigue --- Christ remains the Rock.
This diet is a physical expression of my spiritual walk. I eat like I trust Him. I rest like He's my source. And I'm watching Him restore what striving never could.
